Good evening, I am Venezuelan, the youngest of 4 siblings, my mother got pregnant at 43, which means that my siblings are much older than me, I am currently 39 years old, my mother 82 and my father 87. I got married 12 years ago and I have two wonderful children of 12 and 10 years old with a wonderful heart. My 39-year-old husband has been hypertensive for 10 years, last year he had an ECV which, thank God, left no sequelae, but he must live a relatively calm life. My mother is already 82 years old, she is diabetic, she currently has diabetic neuropathy, diabetic nephropathy and bone marrow cancer, my father is 87 years old and has ischemic heart disease. They have both lived with me for a year since they cannot fend for themselves. When I brought them to live with my family, I had to stop working since I could not take care of my children who are still small, take care of my parents, take care of myself from the house, work and be aware of my husband. Unfortunately, my husband lost his job 3 months ago and we have looked for what to do where we can get income, but among all the people we are in charge of, there are few job offers, not having any capital to invest in any job that could help us. serve to start generating income and the situation of the country, every day it is costing us more to survive, to cover basic needs such as food or food. My husband is an only child, last year after the ecv, his father fell ill with covid and sadly passed away, so on behalf of his family we do not have anyone who can lend us a hand in these difficult circumstances. Neither does my family, since practically all my siblings are 60 years old have their illnesses, my older sister died 5 days ago with a terminal liver disease and the rest are also struggling to make ends meet and to be able to cover their medicines and food . I know that when a door closes, a thousand open later, but there are days when I stagger because of the despair of not knowing how we are going to do to eat or buy some medicine or simply to cover the expenses of my children's studies and see that every time everything gets more complicated, sometimes it even seems like a bad novel. These two years have been terrible for us and I know that things happen for a reason, that we must learn from the circumstances and perhaps having achieved this page is the light that I was waiting for at the end of the tunnel, I don't know but what I do know is that You have to fight until the end without giving up to be able to rise again from the ashes like the phoenix. I only hope to see that light soon, that grain of hope. To whoever is taking the time to read my story, I send all my positive energies and wish you happiness, peace and prosperity along your way.
